One of those sources was notes taken down by her daughter-law, Thelma Vetter Ohlhausen.   He moved with family to Canada and when his mother died, lived with his aunt Louise Littau near Hanna, AB until he became of age. He worked as a farm hand and later as a bull dozer operator and never married.
