Notes |
- and his family emigrated from 'Nemezko Chaginsk' which is Russian for Kronental North Caucasus. It indicates that the family had $450 and that their destination was El Reno, OK (Near Oklahoma City) and they were sponsered by John Stadler.
- Ludwig took out a homestead at NE27-26n-15w, which is immediately west and adjacent to the town of Avard, northern Oklahoma. After his death in Oct 1904, Wilhelmina made final application and received ownership of this quarter section of land as shown on the Patent Record dated 25 Aug 1905. In 1908, Wilhelmina sold one acre to the local school district #140 and the remainder of the quarter section to Fred Link. Wilhelmina's grave stone reads "Wilhelmina Wonenberg Link" therefore we assume that she married this Fred Link as some point.
